We came on a Sunday night. No thumping music, no crowds — just a cosy room filled with solo drinkers quietly sipping and scrolling. And weirdly… it worked. It felt like a soft hideout from the city, the kind of bar that doesn’t ask anything of you except to just sit and enjoy.

Hot tip: Tuesdays are Vinyl Nights — with a DJ spinning old-school records for a different kind of energy. Still chilled, but with a warm nostalgic edge.

What makes Bar Đồ Yêu special is how playful and personal the menu feels. Designed and hand-illustrated by one of the team, it’s both quirky and boutique — and full of bold, locally-inspired drinks.

There’s a whole section dedicated to Vietnamese rice wine cocktails, which is rare and exciting for anyone into traditional spirits or flavour-driven menus.

🍹 What I Ordered

I went for the Thơm Vải Lều — a mix of fermented sticky rice wine, lychee liqueur, pineapple juice and lime. Sweet, tropical, and dangerously drinkable.

The standout though? A single garnish: a fermented lychee soaked in rice wine for 3 months. It packed serious heat. I could have gotten tipsy off two of those alone — in the best way.
